Term 3 Week 7: 24 August 2021
From the Principal...
Good afternoon Parents and Caregivers,
Welcome to week 7.
What an amazing week to celebrate reading with our annual bookfair. Miss Margy has done an amazing job of decorating the library to match the theme of Reading Oasis. With pyramids, camels and a very life-like Mummy in a sarcophagus, it is very creative in deed. Come on down and have a look at the range of books on sale and maybe pick up some early Christmas presents – cash and credit cards welcome. And don’t forget, the annual Book Fair fancy dress parade is set for 9am on Wednesday 25th.
Social media is a great resource for catching up with friends and passing on messages, however as a school we are restricted in the use of social media as a form of incoming information. All staff have been instructed that social media is not to be used to receive, or make contact, with parents. Our forms of receiving and sending information are email and telephone through the school office. If you wish to advise of a child’s absences this may be done through the COMPASS app also. If you have any concerns please do not hesitate to contact the school.
We are seeking the return of the 2/3/4 excursion notes so that we may complete the final planning. Rest assured that any students who are not attending the camp will be catered for back at school, it is not compulsory to attend.
Don’t forget we are chasing donations of plants, baked goods and groceries for the fete. If you can help out please let the office know.
We are actively taking new enrolments. So if you have a preppie or a student wanting to start school next year, or know of someone who does, please contact the office. Enrolment interviews will commence early in term 4.

Snack Attack...
Could we please remind parents and students packing "Snack Attack" that this is just a short 5 minute Brain Break, and not another meal break. The snack should be a small portion and preferably kept separate from the main lunch box. Prep/1/2 are asked to put their snack into a basket, so the temptation of the big lunch is removed.
Thank you for your continued support of this program.
2021 Bookfair...
It is HERE!!!! We hope you enjoy browsing the amazing Titles on sale this year. Wonderful gift ideas... Christmas is just around the corner.
