Principals Conference

This week I have been away attending our Term 4 Principals conference. It has been a fantastic opportunity to network with other Principals and participate in valuable professional development opportunities. I am back in office tomorrow to finish off the week!

FACE Meeting

Next week we are having a FACE meeting to discuss all things Rite of Passage and Awards Night! We strongly encourage all Year 6 parents to come along as we will require your input and assistance in organising this year’s celebrations. Prep/1/2 Happenings

We’ve been practicing our oral language along with our 3D shapes. We’ve been playing some fun games and using our knowledge of the features of 3D shapes to give clues to our partners so we can guess what 3D shape we have behind our book.

Year 3/4 Happenings

In HASS, we have been learning about Waitangi Day, a national holiday in New Zealand. We learned about the history of New Zealand, the Haka and the national anthem. To celebrate Waitangi day, we made a feather Kakadu, which a cloak to display chiefmanship, and put it on our bulletin board outside our classroom.

Year 5/6 Happenings

We have been exploring communities of believers and how they share and strengthen their faith in Religion this term. We looked at scripture in the Bible to analyse what the first communities of believers were like and any similarities or differences to today.
