Term 3 Week 10: 2022
From the Principal
Dear Parents/Caregivers,
Fete
What a wonderful community event our Fete was last Friday. Our staff worked extremely hard to put the event together and we thank the parents that volunteered their time, baking, and cooking to make the event so successful! There has been wonderful feedback about every aspect of the Fete and we look forward to doing it again next year!
Changing of School Times in Term 4
After consultation with all key stakeholders including staff, parents and our Education Consultants from Townsville Catholic Education, we have decided to trial the proposed new school times in Term 4. School will now start at 8.30am and finish at 2.45pm. Students can be dropped at school from 8.00am and will be able to go straight to their classroom. If you have any concerns or questions please feel free to email me sgreenaway1@sfsh.catholic.edu.au or call the school office.
Swimming Term 4
We will be commencing swimming lessons from week 1 in term 4. Mrs Howie is a qualified swim instructor and will be running our lessons for the students along side our teachers. Students will need to bring togs, a towel, goggles, sports uniform and slip on shoes.
FACE Meeting
Don’t forget about our FACE Meeting this afternoon at 3pm under the school in the eating area.
Have a great weekend!
