Term 3 Week 1: 2022
From the Principal
Dear Parents/Caregivers,
Welcome back to school for Term 3. We have had a wonderful (chilly) week here at St Francis and it has been a lovely start to the term.
We had a visit from Outback Futures this week conducting their resilient kids program. Students in Years 1 to 6 completed the Rumble’s Quest game. This is an online game that has been designed to measure student wellbeing. When children participate in Rumble’s Quest, they complete fun challenges and answer questions about the way they experience the world. The information we gather will help the school set directions for student support, and to inform teaching and learning strategies. The game can be used in following years to gather information about the effectiveness of the school’s wellbeing strategies. The data from the quest will also be used to gain an overall picture of student wellbeing in the North-West region.
Our Mulkadeers head off next week ready to get their singing voices on! There has been quite a bit of communication from the Mulkadee team via email so I encourage all parents to read it thoroughly and double check you have everything you need prior to leaving. The bus will be departing at 11am and we require all students to be here by 10.30am. Miss Eriksen and Miss Howie are looking forward to a fantastic week!
We are having our FACE meeting today to discuss our upcoming events including Fete and our Golf Day. It would be lovely to see the parents there to get involved and contribute any ideas they may have!
Have a great weekend,
